A suggestive steam bath at 38°C in a in a small thermal grotto which can be reached through a short tunnel built in the 18th century and re-discovered many years ago. Apart from stimulating a re-equilibration of the organism involving both body and mind, the hot humid atmosphere of the grotto acts as a regulator of the blood pressure and provokes perspiration, thus eliminating toxins from the body. The Grand Duke's natural grotta gives a pleasant sensation of total relaxation, reduces inflammatory reactions, has an analgesic de-contracting effect on a rticulation and is effective in the treatment of respiratory diseases. A small, constant cascade of thermal water at 38° C fills an illuminated stone pool where one can bathe for a relaxing 20 minutes.
